Not your typical creative studio—and that’s the point.

Lone Jack Creative Co. is built a little differently, on purpose. No layers. No drawn-out process. No trying to make your business fit into someone else’s system.

Just thoughtful creative work, built to bring your brand’s vision out into the real world.

HI, I’M JACLYN.

And I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember.

I grew up in Florida, where I studied Graphic Design at Flagler College—alongside advertising and illustration—but most of what shaped how I work didn’t happen in a classroom. It happened in the field.

From hand-lettering signage and building in-store art installations as a Store Graphic Artist for Whole Foods Market…to designing products and packaging as part of the creative team at a B2B costume company…to running a private tattoo studio in a remote Colorado mountain town where every client had to be earned—because they weren’t very likely to just wander in off the street.

That’s where I learned what actually works.

How to build something that people connect with.
How to stand out without overdoing it.
How to make creative decisions that hold up in the real world—not just on a screen.

Over the years, I’ve worked both in-house and independently—supporting businesses across industries, from nonprofits to retail to service-based brands—always with the same focus: keep it clear, keep it functional, and make it feel real.

These days, I’m you can find me somewhere in the Minnesota Northwoods, after nearly 15 years in Colorado.

I’m also the wife of an Army veteran and the daughter of a Navy veteran—which probably explains a bit of the grit, the adaptability, and the “figure it out and get it done” approach I tend to bring to my work.

At the end of the day, I still see myself the same way I always have: An artist first—just with better tools and a sharper sense of what actually matters.

HOW I
WORK »

I like things to be clear, practical, and a little bit scrappy (in a good way). If you work with me, you won’t get an over-worked agency process or a 40-page strategy deck you’ll never touch again.

Instead, you’ll get:

  • Direct communication

  • Thoughtful STRATEGY BASED ON YOUR GOALS

  • Work that’s built to be used—not just presented

Most of the time, we’re figuring things out together in real time—keeping what works, ditching what doesn’t, and moving forward without overcomplicating it.

PERSPECTIVE MATTERS

AI Tools can help. They’re not the whole picture.

AI tools like ChatGPT have made it easier than ever for small businesses to get their brand and marketing off the ground. And that’s not a bad thing.

But tools don’t replace perspective.

They don’t know your business, your customers, or what actually matters for your brand long-term. They can’t make judgment calls. They don’t always connect the dots.

That’s where real strategy comes in—and where having a human in the creative loop makes all the difference.

INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE

I’ve worked across a wide range of industries — from agencies to in-house teams to freelance partnerships — mostly with small teams and owners who are actively lost in the weeds and woods of their business.

The common thread? They don’t need more ideas floating around — they need someone to step in, bring direction, and take the strategy and content pressure off their shoulders so things actually move.

That includes:

  • Healthcare & Medspas

  • Realtors, Title Companies, &
    Luxury Custom Home Builders

  • Finance & Payment Processing Companies

  • Tattoo Shops, Farriers & Trades

  • Home & Vacation Rental Cleaners, Handymen & Service-Based Businesses

  • Farms, Ranches &
    Family Homesteads

  • Restaurants & Grocery

  • Retail & E-Commerce

  • Fitness & Gyms

  • Nonprofits & Animal Rescues

Different industries, same through-line: the work has to hold up in real life—not just on a screen.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK TOGETHER

  • When you work with me, you’re talking to the person doing the work.

    That means:

    • Faster back-and-forth

    • Fewer things getting lost in translation

    • Decisions that stay grounded in your actual goals

It’s a lot more straightforward—and usually a lot more effective.

  • I like work that has a little edge to it—something that feels distinct, a little less polished in the right ways. But it still has a job to do.

So everything is built with both in mind:

    • Strong enough to stand out

    • Solid enough to hold up

  • This tends to be a good fit if:

    • You’re building something real—not just something trendy

    • You don’t want to sound like everyone else

    • You care more about clarity than complexity

    • You want a partner, not a process

  • Based in Northern Minnesota—working with clients wherever they are.
