TY’S FLY N’ TACKLE // BRANDING & WEBSITE DESIGN

The Setup

A local fly shop serving anglers heading into the South Park region—built on experience, not hype. The existing presence didn’t quite reflect that. It needed to feel more aligned with the shop itself: straightforward, knowledgeable, and rooted in place.

The Approach

Keep it simple. Keep it honest. The brand was built to feel a little rugged and understated—pulling from the landscape and the kind of quiet confidence you find in places that don’t need to prove anything.

No over-polishing. No trying to make it something it’s not.

The website followed the same thinking:

  • Clear structure

  • Easy navigation

  • Just enough personality to feel like the shop

Brand photography played a key role here—capturing the space, the gear, and the surrounding environment in a way that felt natural and unforced. No staged moments. No stock placeholders. Just real visuals that ground the brand in its actual setting.

Everything is designed to get people where they need to go—whether that’s checking conditions, finding the perfect gear, or stopping in to share photos of their latest catch.

What Came Through

A brand and site that feel like an extension of the shop itself. Grounded. Practical. A little weathered in the right ways. Built to support the business—not distract from it.

In the Field

This isn’t a place trying to lure customers - It’s a place people come back to because they know what they’re doing.

“Jaclyn just made it simple. She understood the vibe of the shop right away and didn’t try to turn it into something WE WEREN’T TRYING TO BE. The site’s easy, the branding fits, and the photos actually look like real life—which is kind of the whole point."
